Open Innovation 2.0 Conference

SEE was a partner in the European Commission’s Open Innovation 2.0 Conference that took place on June 13-14 in Cluj-Napoca.

The #OI2 conference brought together over 500 guests from 20 countries in workshops and seminars conducted by 70 speakers on topics such as Digital Innovation Hubs and SME/Startup activities in South-East Europe.

The work groups concluded that while OI2.0 ecosystems should be seen and developed as a service in order to ensure rapid experimentation and prototyping in quadruple helix settings (collaboration between public sector, private sector, academia and citizens), there is an urgent need  for infrastructure that is able to propel and support citizen-originated solutions and ideas.
